First steps of the Dance

During their first nights in the Dance Macabre Hugh and Neithan Bishop meet an elder named Petrovsky, who gives them their first assigment as kindred. He asks that they deal with a minor Masquerade breach incident as silently as possible, while giving them false information that should guide the characters to wrong conclusions.

During their search the brothers find that the culprit was in fact Petrovsky himself and that the witness was actually a human with strange ties to the city’s Hound Simone, a fact not known by Petrovsky.

With the help of a Petrovsky’s old enemy the brothers recover evidence of his breach (a painting of him feeding from a Kine) and before they manage to present them in front of the Sheriff Petrovsky leaves town, mostly out of shame, not knowing about the evidence.
